Angela Simmons and The Glamatory Launch Lip A.R.T. Holiday Collection
Mimi Johnson, celebrity makeup artist and The Glamatory owner, has teamed up with style influencer and philanthropist, Angela Simmons, to create Lip A.R.T., a holiday collection of lipsticks.
Atlanta, GA, September 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Mia “MiMi” Johnson, celebrity makeup artist and creator of Atlanta’s premiere makeup store, The Glamatory, has teamed up with style influencer and philanthropist, Angela Simmons, to create Lip A.R.T., a holiday collection of liquid matte lipsticks.
Lip A.R.T., named after Simmons’ soon-to-be married initials, will include four highly pigmented, long-wear lipsticks geared toward all skin tones. The line is an extension of The Glamatory’s existing “Lip Potions” line, and is both vegan and cruelty-free. The holiday color palette includes a nude pink, festive bright red, rich maroon, and gold, bronzed metallic.
“If there’s one piece of makeup I couldn’t do without, it’s lipstick. It’s an absolute must for me, which is why I’m so excited to have created Lip A.R.T. with one of my favorite clients, and a person I admire so much,” remarks Johnson of the partnership.
Simmons agrees, adding, “I’ve always been immersed in beauty and style, so creating a makeup line was a no brainer for me. MiMi is the perfect person to co-create Lip A.R.T. with because she's not only a good makeup artist but has great business sense.”
Each lipstick retails at $14, with an additional limited edition trio collection retailing at $35. Lip A.R.T. will be sold in-store at The Glamatory and online on December 1st, 2016.
