Tampa, FL, September 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- BarCamp Tampa Bay Ready for Exciting Lineup of Tech Topics.
Several hundred of the central Florida’s most passionate tech professionals, hobbyists, and tire kickers will assemble this Saturday, October 1st at USF’s Muma College of Business for an eclectic mix of topics and speakers. This annual unconference known as BarCamp is a global phenomena that occurs in communities all around the globe. It is the ultimate experiment in content crowdsourcing because the agenda isn’t set until the morning of the event and is comprised solely of topics that the attendees decide are worth sharing. Individuals, not companies, in the tech community come to share their knowledge on the cutting edge technologies, tools, and techniques they use every day for fun or for business.
As in past years, presentations cover a wide range of topics but will likely include user experience design, WordPress, wearable technology, robotics, 3D printing, gamification, cyber security, fintech, medtech, block chain, PHP, Python, .Net, Java, and much more. Because BarCamp attracts the region’s highest concentration of tech startups, you can also expect speakers to cover broad early-stage business issues such as how to hire a developer or your first sales person, startup lessons learned, venture and angel funding mistakes, business coaching and other related topics. There will also be demonstrations hosted by Tampa Hackerspace where they will be showing off their inventions and contraptions.
BarCamp is made possible by generous donations from the local tech and business community. Special thanks go out to this year’s sponsors including, Source Toad, Forex Factory, de la Pena & Holiday, USF, Black & Denim, Vology, Haneke Design, Accusoft, Pilgrim Quality Solutions, The Tampa Innovation Alliance, Dabble Lab, The Florida High Tech Corridor, Citizinvestor, Applied G2, M-ize, and Pozytech.
