Sound Authors Radio Show Announces January 25th, 2008 Show Lineup

World Talk Radio broadcasted on the Modavox network features Sound Authors, a live interview talk radio show.

New York, NY, January 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Each Friday at 1PM Eastern Standard Time, Sound Authors radio show features live interviews and readings from all varieties of authors, known and not-yet-known; all soon-to-be bestselling authors from all walks of life, from Hollywood actors to marathoners, to PhD therapists or life coaches. On this talk radio show, it is the story that counts. Authors sound off on every possible topic, from cuisine to culture, and from nature to nurture.

The first author guest this week is will be John Michael Finkner, author of Letters From Grandpa Mike. A charming book that features wildly entertaining conversation between the author and his unborn grandchildren. In Letters from Grandpa Mike, the author educates his developing grandchild on the ways of the world. While engaging in dialogue with his unborn grandbaby, Finkner opens up about life, love, religion, and family. The author also passes on family stories and recalls childhood memories, but not without adding a healthy dose of humor to his anecdotes.

The second guest featured on the show will be Jarrett J. Krosoczka, author/illustrator of several children’s books such as Good Night, Monkey Boy, Baghead, Bubble Bath Pirates and Annie Was Warned. His books have landed on recommendation lists by Newsweek, The New York Times, USA Today, Publisher's Weekly, and The PBS Teachersource. In the March/April 2003 issue of Print magazine, Jarrett is featured as one of their 20 most promising new visual artists.

The third author guest will be Dr. Paul Mullen, author of The Day I Hit A Home Run At Great American Ball Park. Dr. Mullen’s family tale reminds us why we love baseball, America’s greatest pastime, and what it is like living in a traditional Catholic household. He is currently touring the Midwest promoting health and family literacy and teaching students how to become more effective readers.

The musical guest for the show this week will be the bluegrass sextet King Wilkie. This band has made multiple appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and eventually earned the IBMA's coveted Emerging Artist of the Year Award. King Wilkie was born in 2002 and the members are Ted Pitney, Reid Burgess, Abe Spear, John McDonald, Nick Reeb, and Jake Hopping. They are all multi-instrumentalists.
