Civic Leadership Foundation Celebrates 10 Years 10,000 Youth
Celebrating partnerships that empower youth and young adults to live their best lives
Chicago, IL, October 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, October 20, 2016, Civic Leadership Foundation (CLF) will host their 1st Annual Awards Event, “10 Years, 10,000 Youth: Engaged for Success” in the James Tyree Auditorium at Mesirow Financial, 353 North Clark Street in Chicago from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Tickets are $75 each. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
The awards program will highlight the outstanding work of our partners to bring CLF programs to life as they work alongside high risk youth to support them in pathways to success in school, work, and civic life.
CLF selected three award recipients in the inaugural year of its’ awards ceremony based on a track record of success, excellent communication and collaboration, and the willingness to go above and beyond to engage and empower young people and emerging adults. This year’s honorees include: Partner Award, Jack P. O’Connell, Principal - Mark Sheridan Math and Science Academy; Mentor Award, Chimere Bias, Director of the Out of School Time Programs and the Open Book Program at the Institute for Positive Living and the Youth Engagement Award, East Village Youth Program in Chicago.
