The BWE Television Network to Launch
New Network Targeting Millennials Will Intertwine Traditional TV and Apps
Los Angeles, CA, October 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The BWE Media Networks, LLC announced today the launch of The BWE Television Network, a new channel targeting millennials that combines traditional TV’s 24/7 format with the future of television...apps. The network is being designed complementary and exclusively for TV streaming services such as Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire, with an official launch scheduled for summer 2017.
“We’re giving cord-cutters a reason to go all the way, hopefully other networks will follow,” said Le’Auntray Burch, BWE’s founder and CEO, referring to network apps such as Watch ABC and FXNOW that require you to have a cable or satellite subscription password to log in and authenticate. “Content will already be in progress running on a traditional TV schedule and with commercials, however a built in feature will allow for on-demand content a week after episodes have aired,” he added.
The network has several original programs in development, including the first announced Hot Video Countdown, its flagship series that blends a mix of the week's most voted on music videos and celebrity interviews from its set on Hollywood Blvd. It also serves as the central hub for all pop culture and BWE related news. Guest celebrities, including Tahj Mowry, Liane V., Tequan Richmond, and Don Benjamin have all taped episodes.
The BWE Television Network is a division of The BWE Media Networks, LLC., a limited liability company started on July 31, 2015 as an independent producer and distributor for film and television. The launch of the The BWE Television Network will further that mission.
