Fileviewer.com Releases Version 9 of Its File Viewer for Windows
Wilmington, NC, January 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Fileviewer.com is pleased to announce the Version 9 release of "V - The File Viewer".
V is an all-purpose file manager for Windows.
Although it might look like another Windows Explorer replacement, its main strength is its file viewing capabilities. It excels at viewing files quickly, whether the files are 100 bytes or 100 gigabytes.
A dual pane interface makes it very easy to copy/move files from one directory to another, and a thumbnails mode makes browsing images a breeze.
V includes search/GREP functionality, hex viewing, Unicode support, a greenbar mode, 2UP printing and support for 4DOS descriptions and Alternate Data Streams.
The built-in file unzipper supports ZIP, CAB, TAR, RAR, GZip and BZip2 formats.
Support for EBCDIC files makes it ideal for those who work in a mainframe environment.
A U3 (portable) version is available - which lets the user take a copy of V wherever they go.
A trial version of V can be downloaded from the web site (www.fileviewer.com).
A single user license costs $20. Discounts are available for multiple licenses.
V runs on Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Vista.
