Black Kiku Presents a Debut Online Jewellery Collection for Winter 2016

Bury, Lancashire, United Kingdom, October 11, 2016 --(PR.com)-- To celebrate the opening of the new Black Kiku Online Store, Melanie Monks, Founder and Designer of the brand, is proud to unveil her first on-line collection. The Maru Collection is set for release on 18th October, 2016.

This unique new 10 piece Limited Edition collection features rings, bracelets, pendants and bangles all meticulously hand-crafted in Melanie’s characteristic signature style, combining simple architectural and natural forms. The Maru Collection features the circle, the most universal form in both nature and engineering. The centrepiece of the collection is the beautiful multi-layered ‘Bubbles’ Pendant which features alternating layers of discs, rings and circles in matte and high polish sterling silver accented with a single small disc of warm gold-coloured brass.

This modern, desirable collection encapsulates everything you need for the party season. The sheer simplicity of design gives each piece the timeless versatility to take the wearer from a smart daytime look to a more dressed-up evening glamour. A good example of the collection’s versatility is to be seen in the shoulder-duster threader earrings featuring a simple 1.5cm disc of highly polished silver on an ultra-fine 11.5cm silver chain. For evening these can be worn full length measuring a shoulder-skimming 13cm; for daytime elegance, they can be simply adjusted to a more practical 6.5cm length.

Melanie studied goldsmithing and jewellery design over 15 years ago and has since worked in the field developing her exclusive designs and producing hand-crafted individual pieces to order on a commission basis for a small exclusive clientele as well as some pieces which are still available via Etsy.

This is the first time she has produced a collection which will be made available to a wider audience via the new Black Kiku Online Store.
