Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization in Cincinnati, OH is responding to Hurricane Matthew. Matthew 25: Ministries’ domestic Disaster Response Team deployed on Sunday, October 9 with Matthew 25’s full complement of specialized disaster relief vehicles. Expected stops include Charleston and Fayetteville. The Disaster Response Team will continue evaluating all the areas affected by the hurricane.

Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization in Cincinnati, OH is responding to Hurricane Matthew. The storm has generated torrential rain, powerful winds and storm surge up and down the US east coast.
Matthew 25: Ministries’ domestic Disaster Response Team deployed on Sunday, October 9 with Matthew 25’s full complement of specialized disaster relief vehicles. Joined by the Tide Loads of Hope mobile laundry unit, the trucks are loaded with relief supplies including P&G personal care kits, household and cleaning products, Cintas first aid and safety kits and supplies, and additional items such as Pampers diapers, Charmin toilet paper, Tide Pods, tarps and blankets. Matthew 25’s disaster response fleet also includes an ice machine that can produce up to 10,000 pounds of ice a day. The team is heading initially to the Carolinas as they are experiencing heavy impacts from the hurricane. Expected stops include Charleston and Fayetteville. This is a multistate disaster – affected areas include Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. The Disaster Response Team will continue evaluating all the areas affected by the hurricane. The team will travel throughout the affected regions, establishing central distribution sites and also delivering products to hard hit areas.

Matthew 25 is also supplying the hardest hit areas in the Caribbean with supplies. 10,000 pounds of aid were delivered to the Les Cayes area of Haiti over the weekend. Additional relief containers are currently being shipped to Haiti (3), Jamaica (3) and Cuba (1) within the week or as soon as partners indicate they are able to receive them.

∙ Non-Perishable Food: PULL TOP canned vegetables, fruits etc.; ready to eat dry goods such as nuts, peanut butter, dried fruits, granola and trail mixes, jerkies, ready to eat snacks; bottled water; ready- to-eat meals or MREs etc.
∙ Personal Care Products: Antibacterial soap, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lotion etc.
∙ Cleaning supplies: Laundry detergents, general cleaner, sponges, bleach (powdered form is preferred), mops, scrub brushes, buckets, rubber gloves etc.
∙ Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels etc.
∙ Baby and infant supplies: Diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, baby wash, baby shampoo, baby lotion etc.
∙ First-Aid items: Bandages, gauze, pads, first aid tape, antiseptic creams, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, latex gloves, instant cold packs etc.
Matthew 25: Ministries accepts cash, credit card and internet donations for ongoing disaster aid and humanitarian relief programs. More than 99% of Matthew 25: Ministries’ cash and in-kind donations go toward programs. All designated funds are used for the purpose intended.
