Jobber Group Focuses on the Talent Struggles of Fast Growth Companies
Jobber Group is a new kind of talent firm, using People First Principles.
Denver, CO, October 12, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Today, Jobber Group announces their new name and brand. Jobber Group, formerly known as CTek, is a new venture formed by experts dedicated to helping companies redefine their talent strategy. The leadership behind Jobber Group combine 30 years of branding experience with 40 years of staffing and talent management experience. This combination of employer branding and talent acquisition is disrupting the way employers attract employees, and is central to the solutions Jobber Group offers clients.
Attracting, engaging, retaining and developing employees are growing concerns for many corporate executives, founders and business leaders. By recognizing authentic culture, building clear brand messaging and a true talent strategy, Jobber Group helps companies understand and create the workforce they’ll need to succeed in the future.
“Jobber Group is doing something different and is already having a significant impact on the market. Deloitte, Accenture and the other 'big' consulting firms have detailed the importance of culture, employee engagement, and workforce strategies as one of the top issues executives will face over the next 10 years. At Jobber Group, we are executing theses strategies right now,” Joe Thurman, Chief Executive Officer, Jobber Group.
Deloitte recently published a study focused on the power of culture. In their 2016 survey of more than 7,000 executives in 130 countries, leaders said culture is a top issue they face - with 86% touting it as “very important” or “important” and 82% believing culture to be a competitive advantage.
According to a recent Accenture study, executives surveyed report that “deep expertise for the specialized task at hand” was only the fifth most important characteristic they required for employees to perform well in a digital work environment – other qualities such as ‘the ability to quickly learn’ or ‘shift gears’ were ranked higher.
Effective organizational development is built on a mindset over skill set philosophy. Hard skills can be taught. A mindset of why you work cannot be taught. Successful companies create and develop workforce strategies that help match mindset with the strategic goals of the organization.
Jobber Group focuses on authenticity – both internally and externally with clients. Jobber Group’s liquid workforce framework helps companies uncover the authentic mindsets they need to thrive in both the short- and long-term. Jobber Group creates Employee Personas as part of this framework, enabling the delivery of clear employer branding messaging to improve the company’s ability to attract and keep top talent.
