Possibilities for Design Wins Gold for Best Interior Design of Model at 2016 MAME Awards
Possibilities for Design was honored with two Gold Awards at the recent 2016 MAME (Marketing and Merchandising Excellence) Awards.
Denver, CO, October 12, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Possibilities for Design, Inc. of Denver, a national leader in model home merchandising and interior design, has been honored with two Gold awards at the recent 2016 MAME (Marketing and Merchandising Excellence) Awards. The prestigious awards were presented by the Sales & Marketing Council and Home Builders of Metro Denver.
The design firm’s gold finalists for “Best Interior Design of a Model” are the Antero model (2,800 square feet) at Toll Brothers’ active-adult community, Inspiration, in Northern Douglas County, and the Amber model (3,350 square feet) at D.R. Horton’s community, Park Preserve in Castle Rock.
The Antero exemplifies the latest in urban farmhouse design. A neutral color palette with layers of beige, taupe and white, mixed with textures and natural elements such as stone walls, wooden beam ceilings and rustic wood flooring, creates a luxurious but livable home.
“The Antero model highlights some of our newest available options and its exceptional interior decorating provides inspired ideas for our homebuyers,” says Mark Bailey, President of Toll Brothers Colorado. “We are ecstatic that the industry has recognized our homes and Possibilities’ designs, and we couldn’t be more proud."
D.R. Horton’s Amber model was largely inspired by the beautiful, rustic surrounds of Castle Rock. Possibilities chose a “Mountain Modern” style, highlighted by textural tones that hint towards a more industrial feel. The design firm created unique character with wood paneling on the walls, using white on white as an accent color, along with a palette of copper, rust, black, grey and beige.
“From the moment this project started, I knew it was something special,” says Julie Satalowich of Century Communities, formerly of D.R. Horton. “After working with Doris over the years, we have developed a synergy and trust that results in great work. I will never forget the day Doris was showing me different color palettes and style directions. She mentioned that this ‘tobacco’ color was so on-trend, but not many builders were ready to test it out. Because I trust Doris and the Possibilities team, my immediate response was, ‘let's go for it!’
“They captured the warmth and sophistication to appeal to this buyer in this location,” she added. “Their attention to detail makes the acceptance walks so easy, yet energizing. They nailed this project.”
“We are thrilled to have been part of Toll Brothers’ and D.R. Horton’s teams throughout this process,” says Doris Pearlman, President of Possibilities for Design. “A huge congratulations to them, not only for the Golds, but also for the seven silvers at Colorado's MAME. We couldn’t be more proud to partner with them."
“Lastly, an enormous thanks to my Possibilities team,” Pearlman adds. “They are my family and my friends. Without their talent, none of this would be possible.”
