Adding to that accomplishment and in continuance of her studies, she enrolled at Tri-State University where she earned a Master’s Degree in Management. Drawing upon her extensive education and training, Alberta went on to become a Senior Scientist and Systems Engineer for the Science Applications International Corporation. SAIC is a leading systems, solutions and technical services company that offers a broad range of services. Their primary functions are in defense modernization efforts, intelligence, homeland security, logistics and product support, health and life sciences, space and earth sciences and global commercial services. As a Senior Scientist and Systems Engineer, Alberta’s responsibilities are both numerous and varied. She engages in equipment simulation as well as data engineering and develops and manages programs for the Department of Defense.

While she certainly has a full agenda with the responsibilities of her career, Alberta manages to branch out further still with regard to assorted affiliations and charitable organizations. She is a facilitator of her church, a Service Officer for the American Legion and an affiliate of the Society of American Military Engineers. Alberta lives in Waldorf, Maryland, which is a mere twenty-three miles from Washington, D.C. When Alberta M. Nikolai isn’t occupied with the responsibilities of her career or her philanthropic activities, she enjoys traveling.
