HBA Atlanta Hosts the Fifth Annual Woman in Healthcare Leadership Award
2016 Woman in Healthcare Leadership Award recognizes an exemplary leader and mentor in the healthcare industry.
Atlanta, GA, October 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Atlanta chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), a global not-for-profit organization of over 5,000 professionals dedicated to furthering the advancement of women in healthcare, has announced the finalists for the 2016 Woman in Healthcare Leadership Award. This prestigious annual award honors an outstanding woman in the Atlanta metropolitan area who exemplifies strong and innovative leadership in the healthcare industry.
The 2016 Woman in Healthcare Leadership Award finalists are: Sunny Nastase, President Enterprise Accounts, Global Healthcare Sector for UPS; Lisa Kudlacz, Vice President, General Manager, Global Interventional Pain Management for Haylard Health; Freda Lyon, Vice President of Emergency Services for WellStar Health System; and Patty Fritz, Head of Corporate Affairs for UCB.
Individuals were nominated by their peers and coworkers, and final candidates were selected from the following criteria: Women who have played a significant role in Atlanta’s healthcare industry; have set an example for other women through a demonstrated commitment, passion, and desire to contribute to their organization and to healthcare as a whole; have actively mentored other women; and share their knowledge and insight to empower others with the skills necessary for extraordinary leadership.
A panel of organization and industry judges, including representatives from the HBA Atlanta Chapter Board of Directors and Advisory Board will select the award recipient, who will be recognized at the annual award celebration on October 20, 2016 at the Villa Christina in Atlanta, Georgia. The 2014 Woman in Healthcare Leadership Award recipient and keynote speaker, Teresa White, President of Aflac US, will share her personal journey and insights on leadership and personal development.
