Award Winning Artist Frizzell to Make Special Presentation at Jean Shepard Nashville Palace Show
Nashville, TN, October 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Plans have been confirmed for Nashville’s Artist to the Stars, Corey Frizzell, to make a special presentation during an up-coming, star studded night to honor the late country legend, Jean Shepard.
Springer Mountain Farms Chicken Presents a Night to Honor Jean Shepard, a Grand Lady of the Opry at the World Famous Nashville Palace, hosted by Eddie Stubbs. Peers, family and friends will gather to pay homage to Shepard, on November 20th, 2016.
Confirmed artists are; Lorrie Morgan, Jeannie Seely, Jan Howard, Leona Williams, Riders In The Sky, Jody Miller with more artists still being added.
Jean Shepard (November 21, 1933 – September 25, 2016) was an American honky tonk singer-songwriter whom pioneered for women in country music. Shepard released a total of 73 singles to the Hot Country Songs Chart, one of which reached the No. 1 spot. She recorded a total of 24 studio albums between 1956–81, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1955.
Corey Frizzell was born into Country Music Royalty. As the nephew of Country Stars, David & Lefty Frizzell and the son of the youngest singing Frizzell brother, Allan, Corey is carrying on the family name while blazing a path of his own.
An award winning artist, Frizzell has created an extensive catalog of portraits of the stars, personally for the stars, including Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, George Jones, Ken Mellons, Randy Travis, Brad Paisley, Gene Watson, Alan Jackson, Moe Bandy, Mark Chestnut, Jerrod Niemann and Emi Sunshine among others.
