Thanksgiving-Week Getaway Weekend at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino’s Poker Room

Dover, DE, October 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Three no-limit Texas Hold’em tournaments, including one with a $40,000 guaranteed prize pool, will be featured during the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room’s next Getaway Weekend from Nov. 25-27, just after the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:

Friday, Nov. 25, 11:15 a.m.: $15,000 guaranteed, $120 buy-in, 25-minute blinds, 20,000 starting stack
Saturday, Nov. 26, 11:15 a.m.: $40,000 guaranteed, $250 buy-in, 30-minute blinds, 20,000 starting stack
Sunday, Nov. 27, 11:15 a.m.: $3,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 10,000 starting stack

In addition, there will be two satellite events for the Saturday, Nov. 26 $40,000-guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat. The satellite schedule is:

Monday, Nov. 21, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in
Thursday, Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving night), 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the Nov. 21 and Nov. 24 satellites and Nov. 25-27 tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the Nov. 25-27 tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.
