The Chauncey F. Lufkin III Foundation, a Proud Donor Supporting the Tidal X Benefit Concert to Benefit Robin Hood and Other Not-for-Profit Organizations and Schools
New York, NY, October 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Chauncey F. Lufkin III Foundation was a proud donor of Robin Hood and of Saturday night's Tidal X Benefit Concert. In short, on Saturday, October 15th, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Nikki Minaj, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Common, Lil Wayne, Tip, Robin Thicke, Blood Orange, Danielle Bradbery and other top artists performed a once-in-a-lifetime benefit concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center to improve education in New York City and around the world.
The performers generously elected to donate half of the proceeds from ticket sales and merchandise to Robin Hood while the other half will be split among other not-for-profit organizations and schools.
Tidal, the music streaming service owned by Beyonce, Jay Z and other artists, secured sponsors to cover the cost of the event, so 100 percent of the evening’s proceeds will be put to good use.
“We understand the importance of connecting our resources with Robin Hood, in their efforts to improve education in New York City Schools. We are a firm believer in their ability to effect metrics-proven results, which maximize impact, much like a financial manager chooses investments to maximize profit,” said Chauncey Lufkin, Founder of the Chauncey F. Lufkin III Foundation.
