PhotographyCorner.com Announces Contest Corner Challenge #45: Musical Visualizations
Contest Corner Challenge #45: Musical Visualizations is the Latest Contest Challenge at www.PhotographyCorner.com, which asks photographers to take a photograph of something “musical.”
Barrie, Ontario, Canada, January 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Photography Corner ( www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced a new Contest Corner Challenge open to all members of the popular photography community. The latest challenge asks photographers to take a photograph of something to do with music - whether it's sheet music, an instrument, a CD, speakers, someone singing, and iPod, a record, whatever. A challenge winner will be chosen after a five-day voting period by PhotographyCorner.com members when the contest ends on Monday, February 4th, 2008. The site began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued approximately eighteen times per year. The prize for the current challenge is $150 Gift Certificate provided by SnapTotes.com.
“The previous Contest Corner Challenge was about creating a photograph that looked so good (or bad!) that you could smell it. This contest expands on the last one,” noted Tim L. Walker, the owner of PhotographyCorner.com, “asking photographers to capture something associated with the auditory senses instead of something that would stimulate the olfactory senses. Expanding the way photographers look at the objects around them – and trying to photograph something focusing on senses other than visual – will help people see the world around them in a different way, which will ultimately make them all better photographers.”
Photographers who join PhotographyCorner.com have the ability to enter one photograph for each of the Contest Corner Challenges. In an effort to make the contests fair for all members, only photographs taken during the time of the contest can be entered, and only minor post-production photo manipulation can be used.
Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum. Only Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are eligible to win some of the prizes, but all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest and to participate in the five-day voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
