Norwalk Community College Taps TFI Envision for Extended Studies & Workforce Education Campaign
Norwalk, CT, October 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Norwalk Community College (NCC) reached out to TFI Envision, Inc. to develop a campaign to increase awareness and enrollment for their Extended Studies & Workforce Education Division. Offering over 350 high-quality, non-credit courses to people wanting to retrain, underemployed/unemployed, retirees, high school students, business, ESL, and families with kids, they needed to increase their reach.
The TFI Envision team researched the target audience and discovered that their primary knowledge of the programs came from a course catalog NCC mailed. The issue was that a printed catalog could not prompt an immediate response. So although it was exciting to see the offerings, the catalog wasn’t “closing the loop” on enrollment.
Based on the insight that the target was excited by the offerings, TFI Envision developed the "surprise and delight" campaign encompassing a series of digital ads for Facebook, email blasts and a "highlights" 6 panel brochure for local distribution. TFI Envision created the tagline “You’ll be surprised at what you can learn!”
The key messaging is playfully communicated via a text message conversation style graphics - complete with expressive emojis - to showcase the wide range of top notch classes available to enhance lifelong learning, start a business, begin a new career or just have fun. The campaign promoted healthcare, information technology and computers, real estate, small business startup – with certificate classes that give a practical opportunity for employment.
TFI Envision recommended and created a targeted, social media buy in Facebook, geo-targeting to the Fairfield County, Connecticut area and focused on serving ads to the right person via their conversations in Facebook.
