Hauppauge, NY, January 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Long Island Connects, a unique networking group of “Business Experts” founded by Jan DeRobertis in 2006, held its first meeting of 2008 at the Hauppauge Palace Diner on January 9th. This team of Experts is taking their next step toward becoming a leading niche business networking group throughout the Metropolitan Area.

In addition to bi-weekly meetings at the Palace Diner and supporting local Long Island Charities, LI Connects plans on mixing in other unique activities such as speed networking and social networking events. Their goal is to provide a mix of formal and informal interaction, which helps each member develop an intimate understanding of each other’s core businesses, thereby generating new business for all.

LI Connects has more than tripled its original size as more new members join at each meeting. The dynamic principles of the group, coupled with synergy between the members are major contributors to this extraordinary growth.
