Explore How Timely HVAC Maintenance Can Lead to Lower Maintenance Costs with Gulf Learning at The GCC HVAC Summit Dubai

While the HVAC industry is growing at an exponential pace, like any other industry, it is not immune from pitfalls and challenges. This is precisely why such a platform for continuous discussion and exchanges of information among all stakeholders in the district cooling industry is crucial to its further advancement.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The GCC HVAC Summit – now recognized as the region's largest gathering of global experts and specialists in the HVAC Industry- is expected to tackle all issues that are being faced as the HVAC industry sees a continuous shift in technology and methodology.

Organised by Gulf Learning, organisers of market specific conferences across the GCC, this Summit is scheduled to be held between 02 and 03 November 2016 at the luxurious Dusit Thani Hotel in Dubai, UAE.

George Berbari, Chief Executive Officer of DC Pro Engineering UAE and chair of the summit, has recommended that the GCC’s heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems adopt a more sustainable and energy-efficient methods.

"Air cooled systems dominate about 70 per cent of the HVAC market, without offering any significant power-saving features, firms should seriously pursue sustainable, energy-efficient and environment-friendly HVAC solutions," Berbari explained. "As a result, newer and ultra-efficient HVAC systems pose a threat to conventional HVAC setup in terms of better efficiency and fewer maintenance cycles."

He also noted that while lower efficiency air cooled chillers, air cooled ducted split and moderate efficiency VRF continue to enjoy a dominating 70% market share, they actually lead to ever increasing power consumption and global warming problems, with very little that is being done to curb their usage.

Accordingly, among the key themes of the summit is "Ensuring A Sustainable and Energy Efficient GCC." This topic is to be further discussed and elaborated on during a Stake-holders Panel discussion scheduled on the first day of the summit.

Among the panellists who will be talking about Efficient HVAC Implementation are Ali Sleiman, Director, en3 Solutions; Fadi Alshakhshir, Emaar, UAE, Director – Strategy and Compliance & Asad Khan Durrani, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority - Shurooq, UAE, Head of MEP Engineering.

"While the HVAC industry is growing at an exponential pace, like any other industry, it is not immune from pitfalls and challenges," said Abhishek Sarkar, Conference Head at Gulf Learning. "This is precisely why such a platform for continuous discussion and exchanges of information among all stakeholders in the HVAC industry is crucial to its further advancement. "

"Gulf learning plans to optimally use this platform to aid in attending to the needs of the HVAC Industry by bringing together the market leaders, the innovators and the end-users" he added. "I am confident that through such scholarly and intellectual discussions among experts at the summit, a comprehensive solution will be arrived at for the benefit of the industry, stakeholders and end-users."

Other key themes of the presentations and discussions at the summit designing an intelligent building system for driving energy-efficiency in HVAC systems, challenges and opportunities associated with renewable energy integration, proactive HVAC analytics and condition based maintenance and many more.

Among the keynote speakers at summit are Faisal Rashid, Supreme Council of Energy, UAE Director - Demand Side Management; Thomas Bosse, Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence (DCCE), UAE, Technical Director, Head of Programmes
