The Annex Announces First Tenants
Construction begins for Ventura County’s public market; Developed by Shea Properties & CenterCal Properties; Scheduled to open spring 2017
Oxnard, CA, October 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Shea Properties and CenterCal Properties recently announced the first eight tenants coming to The Annex, a 16,000-square-foot public market-style space located within The Collection at RiverPark.
“Our goal with The Annex is to create a community-oriented marketplace by bringing together a unique mix of local retailers and craft food and beverage purveyors,” said Michael Pynn, general manager of The Collection at RiverPark.
New tenants will include Scratch, Ventura County’s #1 food truck for three years running. In its first brick & mortar location, Scratch will stay true to its roots by offering local farm-to-table fare that highlights seasonal meats, cheeses and produce.
Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters will serve responsibly sourced, handcrafted coffee roasted and brewed onsite to provide customers with the highest quality beverages. Customers will be able to get their caffeine fix with Nitro cold brew on-tap, along with batch brew, espresso and tea.
The Annex’s largest retail shop will be Cherry Hills Market, selling a variety of premium hand crafted home goods. Specializing in re-purposed, vintage and shabby chic pieces, Cherry Hills Market’s unique offerings include seasonal gifts and décor, as well as signature olive oils, balsamic vinegars and spice blends.
Named for the Spanish word “dream,” Sueño Jewelry Studio will sell handmade and custom jewelry designed by owner Emmanuel Garcia, along with repairs on vintage watches.
Love Pho Café, a Ventura County favorite with locations in Camarillo and Newbury Park, will be serving its Vietnamese noodle soup and bánh mì sandwiches, as well as spring rolls and milk tea with boba.
An international concept new to the U.S., Wok to Walk’s Oxnard location will be the first West Coast outpost for the made-to-order wok restaurant. Customize your order by choosing a base of noodles or rice and add in proteins, veggies and sauces for a healthy and fresh meal that fits your lifestyle and taste.
With one of the best tap lists in California, Bottle & Pint’s second location will feature craft beers from around the world. Guests can sit indoors or outdoors while enjoying the revolving list of brews and dining on food from Scratch, Love Pho and other restaurants within The Annex.
Afters Ice Cream, home of the “milky bun,” will quickly become a late night favorite. Open every night until midnight, Afters serves handmade ice cream sandwiches on soft, doughnut-like buns – a perfectly, decadent treat after seeing a movie at Century Theatres or a show at Levity Live.
“With comfortable seating areas, shared dining spaces and Wi-Fi throughout, the communal layout of the space encourages people to try dishes from the different restaurants, do some shopping and spend time hanging out,” said Pynn.
Construction is set to begin this month with the first tenants opening in spring 2017. Additional leases will be announced as they are confirmed.
