FKP Expands Community Healthcare Practice, Adds Senior Architect Chris Cook
Chris Cook joins FKP as Senior Healthcare Architect and Vice President. He will manage all phases of healthcare projects under his direction.
Houston, TX, October 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The FKP Houston office is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to the community healthcare team. Chris Cook joins the firm as Vice President and Senior Architect. In this role, he will manage all phases of healthcare projects, including documentation, day-to-day coordination and construction administration.
Over the last 16 years, Cook has worked on large-scale healthcare and hospital projects across the country. He has delivered complex healthcare projects through a careful balance of design, technical documentation, schedules, budgets and codes. He has played a key role in numerous projects for some of the nation’s top hospitals including Houston Methodist Hospital, Hackensack Meridian Health and CHRISTUS Health.
As Senior Project Architect for the Houston Methodist Hospital North Tower, currently under construction in the Texas Medical Center, Cook managed the project delivery and construction administration processes for the project. Service lines include interventional cardiology suites, cardiovascular surgery and neurosurgery operating suites and associated perioperative support spaces, intensive care units, acute care units and sterile processing department.
For FKP, Cook will be working on the Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital Bed Tower, where construction will begin in early 2017, and assisting with completion of the new Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, expected to open in 2017.
