Jennifer Basey Named Regional Leader for Southwest Florida Edward Jones

Fort Myers, FL, October 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Jennifer Basey of the financial services firm Edward Jones was recently promoted to regional leader over Southwest Florida. In her new role, Basey will now be responsible for the firm's regional branch offices while continuing to help the people of her community with their investment needs.

Basey was assigned regional leader by senior management because she is a highly successful, well-respected veteran Financial Advisor who volunteers her time to advance the overall health and growth of the region. She oversees the acclimation of new Financial Advisors to Edward Jones as well as coordinates regional events and meetings where Financial Advisors come together to share ideas and encouragement and to learn from everyone's successes.

Basey has been in the financial industry with Edward Jones for more than 12 years. Prior to her career with Edward Jones, she worked in accounts receivable for Publix Supermarkets as a supervisor. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education and Business Administration from Florida Southern College. She is a certified financial planner and Accredited Asset Management Specialists (AAMS). She was recognized in the prestigious 2010 Gulfshore Life Magazine "40 under 40."

She volunteers in her church to help teach elementary age girls and lead a women's group. In 2008-2009, Jennifer chaired the Greater Fort Myers Professional Networking Group and continues to work in the community connecting people together. She also volunteers her time to mentor other financial advisors in her firm and founded the FAB group for female advisors and brokers in Southwest Florida.
