radVPN Launches Cloud VPN Services
radVPN is a global network of Cloud VPN (Virtual Private Network) servers located in the USA, UK, EU, and Asia Pacific that enable users to remain anonymous by hiding their IP address and DNS requests from any website or eavesdropping third party, giving the user complete privacy while online.
Los Angeles, CA, October 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- RadVPN's Network Administrator Richie Brereton says, “We have been working for the past 12months setting up the network, designing the VPN App (radConnect) and setting up the website. The network itself is fast and secure, even more so using the radConnect App because it uses our own DNS proxy servers which prevents DNS leaks.”
DNS (Domain Name System) is an often overlooked aspect when using a VPN but is crucial in terms of remaining private. Essentially, a user can connect to a given VPN network and have web traffic run over it, but each time they hit a website, a request goes out to the default DNS server that translates the domain name to an IP address. Richie says, “Unless the DNS servers are specifically set on your device, the request will usually go to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) which means they will have a record of all the websites you visit.”
- RadVPN's DNS proxy servers forward all requests to Google's public DNS servers acting as a go-between
- The radConnect App also allows you to enter custom DNS servers
- radVPN has server locations in USA, Canada, Amsterdam (Netherlands), Australia, UK, Germany, India and Singapore
- Three plans are available, 1, 6 and 12 months at $9.00, $7.20 and $6.00 per month respectively (USD)
