Downtown San Mateo’s Largest Mural, Good Life
San Mateo, CA, October 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Join Inspire Art Exhibits, local neighbors and businesses to support new community-funded public art in Downtown San Mateo. This important event celebration will be at Kingfish Restaurant in San Mateo on Friday, Nov. 4th at 7:30. The evening will feature appetizers, cocktails, a live art auction, prize raffle and live music from Jack Foster III Dream Cycle Band. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the “Good Life” muralist, Brian Barneclo.

Barneclo is a renowned San Francisco muralist with work commissioned by Facebook, Google, SF Bay Guardian, Adobe, Dockers, Spotify, Netflix, Genentech and several restaurants throughout the greater bay area including NOPA in San Francisco and D’Amici in Calistoga. He is most famous for his 24,000 square foot Systems mural at SF Mission Bay Cal Train yard. Barneclo explains that he incorporates a consistent theme in his public art that he calls, “System Thinking: an exploration into relating parts to wholes, and observing how those wholes are parts of greater wholes.” Barneclo is very excited about capturing the character of San Mateo and its “human interconnectedness” in his new 2500 square foot mural. This Good Life mural will be situated across from the Downtown San Mateo Train Station, in full view of the thousands of people who board and disembark the train every day.
