KantanLQR Now Supports QTLaunchPad’s Multidimensional Quality Metrics Framework
KantanLQR now supports the MQM framework developed under the QTLaunchPad European Commission research initiative.
Dublin, Ireland, October 28, 2016 --(PR.com)-- KantanMT is pleased to announce that its online Language Quality Review tool, KantanLQR™ now supports the industry recognised Multidimensional Quality Metrics (MQM) framework, which was developed by QTLaunchPad, a European Commission-funded collaborative research initiative 2012-2014. Project Managers will now be able to leverage both quick, high-level, ‘holistic’ evaluations that focus on entire texts and detailed ‘analytic’ evaluations that identify specific translation problems when using the KantanLQR online review tool.
KantanLQR™ incorporates a range of standard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which reflect the relevant MQM error typology, enabling Project Managers to identify translation quality issues and in turn improve their KantanMT engines.
MQM is a framework for describing translation quality metrics in a consistent and coherent fashion and tying metrics to the translation project’s requirements. MQM categories can be used on their own or in conjunction with existing KantanLQR™ KPIs. Additionally, Project Managers can create new customised KPIs that are specific to a project, team or company.
