Vancouver T-Shirt Printer Creates Glow-in-the-Dark Tees for WE DAY Celebrations
Vancouver t-shirt printer helps West Vancouver schools’ students get into the WE DAY spirit.
North Vancouver, Canada, October 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- As Western Canada’s largest t-shirt printing facility, t-shirtprinting.ca was proud to create a unique glow-in-the-dark t-shirt for WE DAY participants from West Vancouver Schools.
“The t-shirt, which features the logo of the West Vancouver Schools, is straightforward enough, but the design features a special twist,” explains Holly, T-shirt Savant at t-shirtprinting.ca. “It glows in the dark, thanks to a special translucent ink treatment added to the white base.”
WE DAY is an inspirational event with an educational slant. The core concept is to shift the emphasis from me to we. It’s about believing in the power of community. The event, organized by WE Charity (formerly Free the Children), will take place on November 3rd at Rogers Arena. There will be speeches and performances by renowned global leaders and social activists, including Lilly Singh, Paula Abdul, George Takei, Margaret Trudeau, Serena Ryder, and many others.
There is no charge for the event. Schools are given tickets, and participating students are asked to collaboratively plan at least one local and one global action to improve their community and the world.
The WE Schools program offers educators and students a curriculum, educational resources, and a full calendar of action campaign ideas. Students gain an understanding of the root causes of global issues, such as hunger, poverty, and lack of education, as well as how to explore what they can do to help.
“We were proud to help print this t-shirt for West Vancouver Schools. WE Day is an incredible initiative that will help shape tomorrow’s leaders. We hope that the garment we helped create will leave the participating students glowing inside—and out!”
