Relyant Global Awarded Contract for the Construction of the Area 82 Gymnasium at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan

Maryville, TN, November 02, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On September 29th, 2016, RELYANT Global, LLC was awarded a single award contract from the Transatlantic Afghanistan Engineer District (TAA), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for the construction of a Gymnasium at Area 82 of Bagram Airfield (BAF), Afghanistan. This prime contract Design-Build award totals $760,292.00. Work will include the site preparation for and construction of a single story, hardened facility to be utilized as a gymnasium and fitness center for individuals working within Area 82. The project is expected to be completed in July 2017. RELYANT will be utilizing an innovative solution in our building design, providing greater structural integrity and lower total lifetime costs.

RELYANT is currently providing complete turn-key solutions in the performance of multiple construction projects, operations and maintenance services, manpower requirements, life support, and environmental services at BAF. A sampling of prior projects includes the provision of living quarters including internal and external construction and finishes, site preparation and compaction, concrete services including drainage systems and taxiways, manpower services, remediation including HTRW, new design-build construction, reconstruction and demolition contracts, HVAC and fire system installation and servicing, electrical services, black and grey water services, and general waste management.
