Detailed information about South Nassau's many services, from cancer care to orthopedics, maternity, weight loss, geriatrics and the Trauma Center, can also be found on the website.

South Nassau's new website features a simplified navigation, making it easier for website visitors to locate content that meets their needs and answers their questions, while connecting them to the complete roster of physicians as well as specialized healthcare services located on the hospital's main campus in Oceanside or conveniently based in the vicinity of the hospital.
Site navigation has been completely reorganized so that visitors have a hassle-free, efficient browsing experience, accessing health information, hospital news and events and other featured content with just one click. South Nassau's website averages 21,000 users per month.
Embracing the increasing use of hand-held devices, southnassau.org includes an optimized experience for viewing on any device – mobile, tablet or PC – at home, at work or on the go. Wax Custom Communications, a Miami, FL-based multi-channel marketing firm with offices in Louisville and San Diego, assisted with the creation and development of the new web site.
Designated a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), South Nassau® Communities Hospital is one of the region's largest hospitals, with 455 beds, more than 900 physicians and 3,500 employees.
