They say a picture is worth one thousand words. For Tess Webster, of Marshfield, “Rexhame Beach,” her design using surfboards and shark tales beat out hundreds of other words and slogans to take first prize in Pre-Game Sports’s t-shirt slogan contest.
Marshfield, MA, January 26, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The multi-colored design beat out such entries as “No Need to Go Farther than Green Harbor”, “More Than Just Another Pretty Beach” and “Marshfielders” to take top honors. For her submission, Ms. Webster will receive a t-shirt with her winning logo, copies of which will be sold at Pre-Game Sports in sizes S through XL.
“Based on the popularity of our ‘Welcome to Marsh Vegas’ shirts, we initially thought this contest would result in another catchy slogan. Ms. Webster’s design really captured the spirit of our town and that’s why we selected it as the winner,” said Lisa Seyffert, co-owner of Pre-Game Sports.
In addition to Marshfield-centric shirts, Pre-Game offers screen-printing and embroidery services for local sports teams and companies.
