Archer Communications Receives Minority- and Women-Owned Business Status
Archer Communications, a marketing firm located in Rochester, NY, has been recognized by the state as a Women Business Enterprise.
Rochester, NY, November 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Archer Communications is proud to announce that it has been granted the certification of Women Business Enterprise (WBE). This distinction is awarded by the New York State Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Women’s Business.
This certification is granted strictly to organizations that are independently owned, operated and controlled by a woman majority.
“I am excited for the opportunities this presents our firm,” said Carrie Tschetter, president of Archer. “As a certified Women-Owned business, we will be able to serve a wider range of state-funded organizations and partake in additional bidding scenarios.”
Carrie Tschetter and Elaine Lennox are the majority owners of Archer. As president of the company, Tschetter is responsible for overseeing all operations at Archer, hiring and coordinating staff and actively managing major client accounts.
Elaine Lennox is a partner who has been involved in the company since its conception in 1987. Lennox is responsible for new business development, generating and nurturing leads, and is the agency representative on the Corn Hill Festival account.
“Becoming certified as a Women Business Enterprise is an exciting new venture for Archer,” says Elaine Lennox. “We look forward to bringing our strategic marketing approach to more organizations throughout the state.”
