Trinity Academy of Raleigh Hosts College Preparatory Workshop

Raleigh, NC, January 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Trinity Academy of Raleigh, a K-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, hosted a “Getting Ready for the College Scene” workshop on Jan. 24 at the Providence Baptist Church on Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh. The event featured a panel discussion offering helpful pointers on the college admissions process, important financial aid information and overall advice on how to prepare for college. The two-hour workshop was open to local parents, education staff and high school students.

The panel was comprised of Susan Dougherty, college guidance counselor at Trinity Academy of Raleigh, Sandra Rhyne, assistant director of financial assistance at Meredith College and Brenda Young, public high school guidance counselor. Following the panel discussion, a question and answer forum gave parents and students the opportunity to interact with speakers.
