7 Southeast Acquires European Furniture Collections
Three New “Eco-Friendly” Lines Added by Florida Based Furniture Company.
Gainesville, FL, January 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- 7 Southeast, a Florida based company that manufactures a line of eco-friendly furniture, announces the acquisition of three collections from Brazil Furniture, a Belgian company. Brazil Furniture has been successfully promoting its product throughout Europe for the past 10 years. The merger serves to expand the 7 Southeast line to well over 100 offerings, all of which are made from sustainable resources.
Nancy Hyer, managing partner of the new company, states “We were looking at other ‘green’ manufacturers and figuring out how to expand our line slowly, one piece at a time. We try to be deliberate and cautious in our growth, but this just fell in our laps and it was too good to pass up.”
The newly formed company manufactures its furniture with an eye to the environment. The Élan Collection, made exclusively from plantation grown solid wood, provides numerous possibilities. The most extensive collection, Élan offers classic farmhouse traditions, yet its basic designs work with many style settings. Many of the tables, consoles, china cabinets and buffets can be topped with the finest Brazilian gray slate, providing a beautiful yet durable surface.
The weather-beaten and warm gold finish of the Bahia Collection contributes to its beauty and practicality. “This collection resonates with me because we are reusing wood from old barns and houses that once stood in the countryside of Southern Brazil. There’s a romance to the idea that this wood made up the walls of a family home at one time. The fact that generations touched the wood, and it can continue touching other lives, speaks of the beauty, power and timelessness of the material”, says Hyer.
7 Southeast produces an elegant collection of sophisticated furniture which targets the design and hospitality market. The company headquarters is in Florida and can be contacted at info@7southeast.com or by phone at (352) 384-3950.
