Council of Residential Specialists Announces New Board of Directors

Chicago, IL, November 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) is pleased to announce its 2017 Board of Directors who were elected at The Council’s Annual Business Meetings, held in conjunction with the NAR Conference & Expos held November 2-5, 2016 in Orlando, FL.

Leigh Brown, CRS, a broker/owner with RE/MAX Executive Realty in Charlotte, NC was installed as CRS’s 2017 President. Brown is a 3rd generation Realtor and has been active in real estate for over 13 years. She earned her CRS designation in 2003 and also holds an ABR, CIPS, and SRES designations. Brown has served in numerous leadership positions at the local, state and national level.

Gary Williams, CRS, joins the board as President Elect. Williams, a sales agent at Coldwell Banker Burnet Realty in Edina, MN, has been a CRS since 1997 and was CRS of the Year in 2007. Michael Burkhard, CRS, managing broker, Bray Real Estate, Grand Junction, CO, was installed as First Vice President. Janelle Pfleiger, CRS, broker associate, RE/MAX Dynamic Properties, Anchorage, AK is the Council’s immediate Past President.

New board members include Shawn Cunningham, CRS, broker associate, RE/MAX Advantage, Las Vegas, LA; Stephen Stewart, CRS, broker associate, Edina Realty, Edina, MN; Michael Selvaggio, CRS, broker/owner, Delaware Homes, Inc., Townsend, DE; Mark Shepherd, CRS, broker/owner RE/MAX Unlimited, Layton, UT; Vinnie Tracey, CRS, VP, United Trading LLC, Denver, CO; and Lana Vukovljak, Chief Executive Officer.
