Powerful Site Monitoring with the Model 135 Site Monitor from Gordon Kapes, Inc.
The Model 135 site monitor is a round-the-clock watchdog designed for sophisticated communication systems, call centers, equipment rooms, large offices, and other facilities where remote monitoring is critical.
Chicago, IL, January 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Think of it as a “resource kit” for monitoring and maintaining computer, communications, and specialized equipment locations. Or a round-the-clock “watchdog” of CPE (customer premises equipment) health.
Whatever you call it, the Model 135 Site Monitor is designed to give you rapid, easy access to six CPE devices connected to the serial ports. With its wide range of built-in capabilities, it’s easy to tailor a powerful site-specific solution. And the intuitive web-based interface makes setup and use a straightforward process.
Key Features
• 10/100 Ethernet and analog modem connectivity
• Serial port access and “text data matching”
• AC and DC voltage monitoring
• Ping testing
• Eight closure inputs and two relay outputs
Applications
The Model 135 is designed for use with sophisticated communication systems, call centers, equipment rooms, large offices, and other facilities where remote monitoring is critical.
The system enables remote monitoring of a variety of physical and electrical conditions, including temperature, voltage, secure connections, intruder detection, and more.
Choices
Versatility has been built into the Model 135 with features such as selectable alarm notification via email (SMTP), ASCII modem, or ASCII text message (SMS) reporting and menu access via Ethernet, Telnet or modem via PPP protocol.
FTP transfer capability makes it simple to configure additional Model 135 units. Web-based support provides users with critical backup as needed. The password system allows for multiple, unique name-password combinations and logging of user access.
Available options like the Model 141 Temperature Sensor can be used with the Model 135 to provide additional temperature monitoring locations. Up to seven Model 141s can be used with each Model 135.
Solid Design
Like all Gordon Kapes, Inc. products, the Model 135 is built for ease of use. All connections are clearly labeled. The solid, compact unit fits in a single rack space or can be wall mounted. On screen, the menu system is clear and easily navigated. And the unit is battery backed.
