Guaranteed Tournament with Guaranteed Prizes Coming in December to Dover Downs Hotel & Casino’s Poker Room

Dover, DE, November 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Two big Texas Hold’em tournament weekends, featuring $64,000 in guaranteed prize pools and a $30,000 guaranteed tournament on Dec. 30, are coming to Dover Downs Hotel & Casino’s Poker Room in December, including a Getaway Weekend Dec. 9-11 and a Christmas holiday tournament schedule from Dec. 29-Jan. 1.

The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:

Friday, Dec. 9, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, $125 buy-in, 25-minute blinds, 20,000 starting stack
Saturday, Dec. 10, 11:15 a.m.: $15,000 guaranteed, $150 buy-in, 30-minute blinds, 25,000 starting stack
Sunday, Dec. 11, 11:15 a.m.: $2,500 guaranteed, $45 buy-in, 15-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack

There are two satellite events for the Saturday, Dec. 10 $15,000-guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat. The satellite schedule is:

Wednesday, Dec. 7, 7:15 p.m.: $25 buy-in

Sunday, Jan. 1, 11:15 a.m.: $2,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, Deep-Stack Turbo, 30,000 starting stack

There are two satellite events for the Saturday, Dec. 30 $30,000-guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat. The satellite schedule is:

Wednesday, Dec. 28, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the December satellites and tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the December tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.
