Triggr & Bloom's, James Larese, Directs Highly Anticipated New Video for A Tribe Called Quest's, "We The People"
Los Angeles, CA, November 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Triggr & Bloom is pleased to announce the video release of “We The People” the first single from Tribe Called Quest’s latest release “We Got It From Here, Thank You 4 Your Service,” their first in 18 years. Director James Larese and Executive Producer Monica Blackburn are both Co-Founders of Triggr & Bloom, a multi-platform production company focused on original content and located in Los Angeles.
This video for “We the People” drops at a very timely moment in our country’s history. Whether you saw Tribe’s Nov. 12 performance on SNL, or have already heard the streaming single, you know that this is no ordinary song by no ordinary band. While the constitutional reference of the song’s title is obvious, the lyrics can be interpreted as a call to unity...The fog and the smog of news media that logs, False narratives of Gods that came up against the odds.
From Director James Larese, “I was hugely influenced by Tribe growing up and never imagined I'd be here directing their video. They are just as relevant today as they were 20 years ago. 'We the People' touched me on a visceral level. One of the reasons I co-founded Triggr & Bloom, perhaps the main reason, was to position my art to a higher purpose. Working with them was an incredible affirmation for me."
"As creatives, we feel strongly that, perhaps more now than any other time in recent memory, the arts be used as a catalyst for change, to unite those of us with a shared purpose to better our community, our nation, and our planet. There is much work to be done, and we are committed to producing content that is aligned with the vision that we share with our clients,” says Executive Producer, Monica Blackburn.
