Redwood Palms Pictures to Produce Whiskey Beginnings, The Junior Johnson Story

Beverly Hills, CA, January 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Actor Fred Griffith’s production company, Follow Your Dreams Productions, has entered into an agreement with Redwood Palms Pictures to produce the life story of Junior Johnson, the father of modern day stock car racing. Johnson, the son of a notorious moonshiner, developed his famous driving skills while running whiskey and consistently out-driving the law. He then went on to become a racing legend and a true American hero.

Whiskey Beginnings was adapted by Fred Griffith and Chris Mulkey, based in part on the book, Brave in Life, Junior Johnson by Tom Higgins and Steve Waid.
R. Scott Reid and Mike A. DiManno of Redwood Palms Pictures will Executive Produce.

Fred Griffith and Chris Mulkey are contracted as Writer/Producers.

Production is scheduled for mid/late 2008.
