AD1 Global’s Orlando I-Drive Properties Set to Benefit from New Developments
Hollywood, FL, November 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- AD1 Global is well-positioned to profit from recent announcements by Orlando developer Joshua Wallack.
Wallack, who is the owner/operator of the popular Mango’s Tropical Café and the developer behind the ambitious $460MIL Skyplex project, is building a parking garage, retail center and restaurant adjacent to two of AD1 Global’s hotels located on International Drive.
“Our Comfort Inn and Best Western Plus hotels are in a perfect position to benefit from all the new and exciting developments,” said AD1 Global President and CEO Daniel Berman. “And on top of what Joshua is doing the county government is pursuing the construction of a bridge that will allow for the easier flow of pedestrian traffic across the Sand Lake/I-Drive intersection that will also benefit us.”
Wallack, who is helping the city with the bridge project, estimates that it will cost between $40-50 million dollars and would not just be a typical bridge but something special, like a work of art. “This bridge will be the gateway into this region for the next 40 years, so it’s got to be big.”
In addition to all the development taking place next to the hotels, local officials are also entertaining a $560 million-dollar light rail project that would connect the airport to the nearby convention center.
This could be in anticipation of the billion-dollar high-speed rail project "Brightline," that will connect Miami to Orlando and is expected to bring millions of additional visitors into the Orlando market.
“The area is really booming right now,” said Berman. “I think this is a good time for investors and developers alike.”
AD1Global is potentially looking to increase its presence in the Orlando market, which by many indications is going through a renaissance. Government officials are facilitating growth through business incentives and infrastructure spending programs that will attract more visitors and companies to Orlando. Based on recent data, nearly $8 billion in infrastructure projects are underway including the $2.3 billion widening of I-4 (“I-4 Ultimate Improvement Project”), the $1.2 billion South Terminal expansion at the Orlando International Airport and numerous other improvements throughout the area.
“We believe there is a lot of opportunity here,” said Berman.
