Local Tea Company Launches New Culinary Concept
The Water Oracle – Mystical Teas & Provisions has launched a new tea infused line of gourmet culinary products for the home chef and looks to crowd sourcing to take their concept global.
Rhinebeck, NY, December 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Water Oracle announced today their intentions of taking their new tea infused culinary line to the World Tea Expo in June of 2017. The tea company has turned to popular crowd sourcing company, Kickstarter to help raise funds for product expansion and distribution.
Company owner, Stacey Held said, “We’re a small company with a big idea. When we opened we looked for unique tea infused products to carry in our store. When we couldn’t find what we were looking for, we decided to make it ourselves.”
The all organic tea company has created a line of tea infused cooking salts which it sells in its Rhinebeck, New York store location. They’ve created salt flavors such as: Green Ginseng Lemon Sea Salt, French Earl Grey Salt and Smoked Black Tea Salt. After the success of their salt launch they decided to move forward by expanding the line to include organic tea infused baking flours and sugars.

On November 29, The Water Oracle launched a crowd sourcing campaign with Kickstarter to raise funds for product expansion and trade show development. Kickstarter is an American public-benefit corporation based in Brooklyn, New York which has built a global, online crowdfunding platform. It’s been considered to be the world’s “largest funding platform for creative projects,” and has helped hundreds of small companies like The Water Oracle, get noticed and get funded. It’s The Water Oracle’s hope that their partnering with Kickstarter will get their product expansion off the ground. The fund raising campaign, which is looking to raise $18,000 will run until the end of December.
