BTO Sports Releases List of Top Tracks in California
Camarillo, CA, December 05, 2016 --(PR.com)-- BTO Sports, global online retailer of motorcycle and motocross gear, has released an infographic listing the top riding tracks in southern California. This infographic was compiled as an easy guide for both novice and experienced riders to explore outside their local region and highlight the diversity of riding locations across southern California.
There are nine locations listed on the graphic that span from San Diego to Mammoth. The graphic is a map listing the name of each location, a quick overview and points of interest for each, as well as, advice on what motocross gear is ideal for riding each track. The graphic is color coded for each southern California region that the track pertains to as follows, brown for San Diego, blue for Riverside, green for San Bernardino, orange for LA county and purple for central California.
All tracks mentioned on this infographic are expert recommended and were included based on location, track quality and popularity. Costs are associated with most the tracks listed, but amounts vary for each location with some offering military discounts.
In San Diego, Pala Raceway is located at 12799 Highway 76. A total of five MX tracks make up this location with tracks for every rider ranging in experience level and difficulty.
In Riverside, the Cahuilla Creek MX at 50100 Highway 371 is farther out than the rest of the tracks listed, but it offers a challenging course for every skill level. Perris Raceway in Riverside, is the oldest track in southern California located at 1205 Burton Road. Milestone MX, also in Riverside at 12685 Holly Street, covers 55 acres with five tracks and an MX pro shop.
In San Bernardino is Glen Helen Raceway Park at 18585 Verdemont Ranch Road. This park is located on 256 acres of rugged country with multiple tracks from pro to pee-wee. The L.A. County Raceway at 7010 East Ave has summer and winter hours for the single sand track and offers ample amenities on site. The central California Zaca Station MX track is private (invitation only) and located at Zaca Station Rd. It offers one main outdoor track that is 1.3 miles long along a hillside.
The Lake Elsinore MX Park is located at 31919 Cereal Street on the south side of Lake Elsinore and is one of the biggest and most famous MX courses in the world. Lastly, Mammoth Motocross is located at Sherwin Creek Rd and is open once a year for the annual Mammoth Motocross event. This is the oldest continuously running motocross event in the United States.
