McElroy Provides Enhanced HDPE Pipe Fusion Training
Tulsa, OK, January 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- McElroy Manufacturing, Inc. is proud to announce its newly enhanced polyethylene pipe fusion training program along with the 2008 schedule.
For over 30 years, McElroy has offered basic and advanced training designed to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety. All courses offer preparation and instruction that will enhance efficiency, productivity and safety of McElroy fusion equipment.
New in 2008 are classes that focus on specific areas of maintenance and overhaul of fusion equipment (such as hydraulics and electronics), classes specific to the McElroy TracStar® line of fusion equipment, and the inclusion of Operator Qualification Testing for operations classes. Successful completion of the testing process can provide added credibility, expertise, and competitive edge out in the field.
Larry Gordon, Manager of Training & Operations notes that “our classes are designed so that all students, regardless of skill level or past experience, can benefit from the training.” There are no prerequisites and all students are invited to enroll in any or all of the classes offered at McElroy.
The classes are approximately 30% classroom and 70% hands-on application and are appropriate for construction crew members, operators, contractors, inspectors and supervisors. For all classes, students will receive a school certificate showing they have completed factory training.
In addition, McElroy also offers custom training to fit the needs of its customers. Training can be conducted at the McElroy facility, the customer’s location or on the jobsite. Instruction in multiple languages is also now available.
