Miss Ukraine to Host Chert Poberi Café First Special Night

Brooklyn, NY, January 29, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Miss Ukraine 2007, Lika Roman will be the guest of honor for the opening night of Chert Poberi Special Event Nights(Ch.P.Nights), www.ChertPoberi.com with the support of Beauty in You non-for-profit organization. The opening promises to be a momentous occasion for the Russian speaking community in Brooklyn, as it will establish a new way for people to socialize and spend time together. The event will take place at Chert Poberi Café, 1664 Sheepshead Bay Road in Brooklyn, NY, on Tuesday, February 5th at 7PM.

Ch.P. Nights aims to expand the café’s appeal, by giving South Brooklyn what it needs; a place for recreation. The Café will give its patrons the opportunity to discuss books and movies, listen to music and find new friends, while also providing the unique opportunity to learn new things. Weeknights will be dedicated to a special theme, while guest speakers, such as writers, artists, specialists and celebrities will be invited to host the evenings. The Cafe’s program will cater to all ages, with Sunday mornings dedicated to children.

Miss Ukraine, 21 year old Lika Roman, winner of the 17th National “Miss Ukraine” beauty contest in Kiev, was also nominated to represent her country in the 2007 “Miss World” competition. Roman, who adheres to a Christ-centered lifestyle, has boldly taken the message of Christ into new arenas. She strongly emphasizes the importance of chastity and moral purity and has chosen to abstain from sex until marriage. Lika actively encourages young people to follow her example. She is currently a student at Uzhorod State University, with a major in International Relations.
