Climate Control Specialists Moves to Wyboston Lakes
Munters, one of the global leaders in energy efficient air treatment has moved its UK headquarters to The Knowledge Centre at Wyboston Lakes. The company was previously based at a business park in Huntingdon, and while this provided good road access to major routes, traffic issues in the area, especially during peak times, were a problem which often resulted in staff spending less time productively in the office.
St Neots, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, December 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Employing over 50 staff in the UK, the success experienced by the Swedish-based company during the last few years prompted the need to move to a more prestigious location which had easier access for staff. They also wanted modern, high quality offices that would not only reflect the image of this world class organisation but also provide the flexibility to accommodate the growing business.
Munter’s marketing executive, Emily Walker said, “We knew Wyboston Lakes well as we had used the hotel, restaurant and training facilities on many occasions, so when we decided to move, it was an easy decision to relocate to The Knowledge Centre. It’s a great location which is not only more central for all our staff, but being right on the junction of the A1, A428 and A421 also provides excellent access to all areas of the country. The offices are fully serviced so all the facilities like business rates, cleaning, heating, phone lines and high speed broadband are included. This saves us considerable time, so we can now focus all our energies on the continued growth of the business. Having our warehouse here on site is a huge advantage for us. We now don’t have to drive to a different location which means we can work more efficiently, fulfil orders expediently and ensure all deliveries are on schedule.”
The extra office space available at The Knowledge Centre, has allowed Munters to take on five new staff including an apprentice in the warehouse. The company is looking to continue its growth and the expansion plans for this award winning business means there will be a need for additional support staff in the office in the future.
Walker added, “The convenience of having meeting rooms, training facilities and all the resources of Wyboston Lakes close at hand allows us to hold meetings, plan company days and even hold Christmas parties without having to leave the site!”
Wyboston Lakes’ director of business development Brian Payton commented, “We are delighted to welcome Munters, a major successful world class business, to join the many new and rapidly growing businesses that are now based at the Knowledge Centre. They recognise that we not only have superb facilities here on-site, but can also accommodate their future expansion as their business goes from strength to strength.”
