Author Lavirrealista Promotes New Essay, "ITech2.0 Presages the End of Global Corporations"
Lavirrealista is pleased to promote her new thought piece about the emergence of Intelligent Technology 2.0.
London, United Kingdom, December 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Intelligent Technology 2.0 “iTech2.0” is the term used for collaborative, open development of technology as pioneered in the software arena by Open Source Software.
Open Source has had a profound, and increasing impact on software development and the model is now spreading, via technologies such as 3D printing, to physical object manufacture. At the heart of this is collaborative, open, non-proprietary working, a model which could well see the end of corporate structures as we know them.
This thinking is further explored and followed through to some interesting conclusions in the author’s science fiction books.
The essay is available for free download from all the main eBook platforms (Amazon, GooglePlay, Apple, Smashwords, Barnes and Noble and Kobo) – just search Lavirrealista or visit "virrealismo.com."
About the Author.
Writing under the pseudonym Lavirrealista, the author was born in Tuscany, Italy but spent her 20 year career as an IT consultant in the UK. She now lives in South East Asia. Over the last few years she has published two science fiction books, a collection of short (science fiction stories) and a number of essays. She is currently working on a sequel to her last book “Change of State” which explores bio-tech, robotics and thought/sensory transmission. Being fascinated by the fast development of technology she has used both the fictional and non-fictional medium to explore possible future technologies and what kind of social impact they could have. A constant theme is how real virtuality (or “virrealism”) might affect humanity.
