North Shropshire College Gets Competitive in Learning
North Shropshire College (NSC) has been encouraging students to improve their English skills through monthly poetry competitions.
Oswestry, United Kingdom, December 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Every student across all campuses can enter and the winner receives a different gift voucher for each monthly win. Each month will have a different theme and original criteria to meet.
Jo Millington, Head of Maths and English, commented, "We embed Maths and English within the College curriculum as well as supporting learners in bespoke sessions to ensure they improve whilst they are with us here at the College. The monthly competition is a fun way of getting learners inspired to focus on Maths and English and each month we get some fantastic work in which is a credit to the students."
The most recent winner was Joshua Parsons, a Level 2 animal care student from the Shipley campus.
