Chaplain Marilyn Rensink Recognized as a Professional of the Year by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication

About Chaplain Marilyn Rensink
Chaplain Rensink serves as a volunteer at Sanford Health Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, assisting patients with their hospital visit and ensuring they are calm and peaceful. She provides prayers and assistance with family issues. She is also an Author who recently published her first book titled “I’ve Always Been Rich: Pigs to Pastor.” Chaplain Rensink is a member of the Speakers Bureau for the Reformed Church in America and also speaks for the Christian Women Connection.
Born on June 20, 1935 in Sioux Center, Iowa, Chaplain Rensink obtained a M.Div. in Theology from North American Baptist Seminary in 2000. Previously, she served as a Legislative Aide for the Iowa Senate and House of Representatives for 16 years. She later served as a Chaplain with St. Luke’s Hospital of Sioux City, Iowa and Sanford USD Medical Facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She has served as a Roving Volunteer in Christ’s Service by volunteering across the U.S. in Christian ministry venues.
Chaplain Rensink is married to Wilmer and they have six children. In her spare time she enjoys family activities and travel.
