Loretta M. Menendian Honored as a VIP Member for Two Consecutive Years by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication
Fort Walton Beach, FL, January 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Loretta M. Menendian of Fort Walton Beach, Florida has been honored as a VIP Member for two consecutive years, 2016 and 2017, by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of art.
About Loretta M. Menendian
Ms. Menendian has been in the field of art for over 50 years. She is an Art Teacher at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida. She has taught there for the past 12 years. She teaches art in all mediums, especially colored pencil and does 2 art shows per year at the college showcasing her students, as well as her own art work.
Ms. Menendian has won three first prizes, three second prizes and third prize from the Art and Design Society of Fort Walton Beach. She had a One Woman Art Show at the Full Circle Gallery in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She currently has original art work and prints on canvass on display at Furniture Resources, and the Trophy Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Ms. Menendian is planning to place her work on Etsy in the spring of 2017. She has designs on coffee mugs, trivets, coasters and mouse pads. She illustrated four books written by Dale Willett, “White Cloud and his Magic Lasso,” “White Cloud and the Rainbow Girls,” “The Golden Eagle and the Snow Shoe Hare” and “White Cloud and The Challenge.” Next year, Ms. Menendian will be illustrating another children’s book titled “The Wild Thing.” Ms. Menendian was selected to be a sketch artist on one of the episodes of The Dead Files, which will be shown February, 2017. Her works can currently be viewed at Northwest Florida State College.
In 2000, Ms. Menendian obtained an A.A.S. in Multimedia Technology from Northwest Florida State College. Previously, she worked in the animation field, illustrating backgrounds and storyboards. Ms. Menendian also owned a T-shirt company, Lobrus Grafix, where she designed Christian T-shirts. She has also worked with interior decorators.
In her spare time she likes to travel.
