Dino Sideris Chosen for Vice Chair Position on QUOIN / AGC Safety Resource Leadership Group
Dino Sideris, Safety Director for Bob Moore Construction, has been selected as Vice Chairman for the QUOIN / AGC Safety Resource Leadership Group. The AGC is the oldest / largest organization in the construction industry. With over 1100 member companies, QUOIN is the AGC chapter for a large portion of Texas from Dallas / Fort Worth east to the Louisiana border, and north to Oklahoma. QUOIN’s Safety Resource Leadership Group is the senior safety-related committee in QUOIN.
Arlington, TX, January 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Dino Sideris, Safety Director for Bob Moore Construction, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Safety Resource Leadership Group for QUOIN, the north and east Texas chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).
The AGC is the oldest and largest organization in the construction industry, going back to 1919. With over 1100 member companies, QUOIN is the AGC chapter for a large portion of Texas from Dallas / Fort Worth east to the Louisiana border, and north to the Oklahoma border.
QUOIN’s Safety Resource Leadership Group is the senior safety-related working committee in the chapter. It is comprised of 15-20 safety professionals, and serves to drive safety, health and environmental excellence in the construction industry. In 2008 the Safety Resource Leadership Group will work to improve QUOIN's broad range of training programs; establish and expand partnerships with OSHA and EPA; develop a badge system to identify worker training accomplishments; and identify and develop resources to address safety trends.
Dino Sideris was elected to the Vice Chairman position by the members of the group. He will serve in this capacity through 2008 and will assume the Chairman position in 2009.
