Operation Tattooing Freedom Names New CEO & Board Members
Operation Tattooing Freedom was founded to help Veterans suffering from PTSD through tattoo therapy.
Fayetteville, NC, January 06, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Operation Tattooing Freedom (OTF), a nonprofit based out of WIlliamsburg VA that helps veterans suffering from PTSD with tattoo therapy has named Ryan Harrell its new CEO. Operation Tattooing Freedom also named Ryan & Jaimme Hunt to their National Board of Directors.
Operation Tattooing Freedom was less than a year old when the board met and determined the percentage of growth in the organization required more members. “OTF programs had grown to a huge waiting list and I really wanted to remain involved in the tattoo therapy. Running the business side of OTF was keeping me from helping more Veterans and actually performing the therapy sessions,” said Lewis Hunt, the founder of Operation Tattooing Freedom. “After meeting Ryan and talking with him more and more over the year I knew he would be the right person to help us with the growth we were experiencing.”
Ryan Harrell a Fayetteville NC native has built and sold several marketing firms and owns one of the largest tattoo studios in the state of NC, American Tattoo Society. He is also the founder of The All American Tattoo Convention being held in his hometown of Fayetteville. Ryan admits, “As soon as I met Lewis and heard how they use proven therapy techniques to help veterans through tattoo therapy I knew I wanted to be more involved. Fayetteville is home to the largest military base in The United States, lots of entrepreneurs, businesses and local non profit organizations are passionate about veterans and active duty military. Operation Tattoo Freedom cannot be more thrilled to be one of those passionate operations.”
