AnchorID Appoints Former Apple and SolarCity Executive Mark Roe to Board of Directors
Silicon Valley veteran Mark Roe has joined AnchorID as an investor and member of its Board of Directors to influence company’s expansion.
Kingston, NY, January 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- AnchorID, Inc., the fast-growing cloud-based cyber security company, today announced that Mark Roe has joined the company as an investor and member of its Board of Directors. Roe was previously VP of Operations and Engineering for Solar City, and Senior Director of Worldwide Service for Apple, Inc. Roe joins AnchorID as the company accelerates its growth in the US Credit Union sector of the financial services market and begins to market its new products designed for software-as-a-service products like Salesforce.com and others.

Roe was instrumental in the IPO of SolarCity on the NASDAQ stock exchange in 2013 while serving as the company’s VP of Operations and Engineering. At Apple, Roe served as Senior Director of Worldwide Service, overseeing Apple’s global service operations, engineering, and a $3B supply chain. In this capacity, he helped solidify Apple’s worldwide reputation for excellence in customer satisfaction while supporting an increase in Apple’s revenue of over 500%.

He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from Syracuse University.
